Filip Filipović is widely regarded as one of the greatest water polo players of all time. As a long-time member and leader of the Serbian national team, he won every major international title, including Olympic gold medals and multiple World and European Championships. He has been recognized twice as the FINA World Water Polo Player of the Year. Known for his exceptional technique, powerful shot, and strong leadership qualities, Filipović has played for top European clubs and remains one of the sport’s most influential figures.
Živko Gocić is a former Serbian water polo captain known for his tactical discipline, defensive mastery, and outstanding leadership. As a key member of the national team, he achieved numerous major titles, including Olympic, World, and European championships. After retiring from professional play, Gocić transitioned into coaching, where he is recognized for his strategic approach, team-building skills, and commitment to developing high-performance athletes.
Has been involved in water polo for decades, serving as a distinguished player and coach for Partizan Water Polo Club. He was active in veterans’ divisions, where he competed with the Partizan team in international tournaments, including winning the title of European Veterans’ Vice-Champion in 2016 in Rijeka.
